You and your team should be there 15 minutes before the start time. After the instruction, you enter the room and the door is closed. The clock starts to run, the game has begun. But beware… the tension rises when it turns out that your adventure is laced with puzzles, riddles and hidden clues! Are you able to crack the codes and complete the mission by escaping before the time runs out? Collaboration is the motto! Do you need to think logically or out-of-the-box? In our 3 rooms, “The Boat Trip”, “The Grand Prix” and “The Gold Mine”, a maximum of 16 people can play at the same time. Groups of 17 to 32 people can be divided over 2 time slots (2 hours in a row).
There is then 1 group who stays in our cozy reception room, while enjoying a drink and a snack while the other group plays the game. We can also organize a pub quiz during that hour. Fun, exciting and good for the team spirit! If the group is bigger, play From Russia with Love, Hacked! or La Casa de Papel. Do you want to cycle or have a drink on the beach and play a VR game? Escape Room Zandvoort is suitable for everyone from 12 years old. You don’t need any special skills or knowledge to solve the puzzles and find the hidden clues. The game demands creativity, ingenuity and above all… logical thinking!
Our escape rooms are designed for groups of 2 – 6 people. Complement each other, consult and work together intensively to crack the codes. Teamwork is crucial to escape within time… If you are able to do that, that is really an achievement! It certainly doesn’t work for everyone…

Don’t be fooled. This way you can safely play “The Boat Trip” even if you can’t swim, “The Gold Mine” does not require any underground experience and you can also solve “The Grand Prix” without knowledge of cars or Formula 1.

Een hele leuke escape room met heel leuk personeel. Ik ben naar ongeveer 10 escape rooms geweest, maar deze was erg bijzonder (de boot), je kan alleen niet zeeziek zijn😅
Zelf de kamer van de boot gedaan hij zat goed in elkaar. 1 ding werkte niet hellemaal soepel maar na de 3de keer proberen werkte het wel. De kamer had veel verschillende soorten leuke puzzels. Hij was niet al te moeilijk (hebben al een hoop escape room gedaan dus de ervaring daar van kan zekker helpen). All met al leuke escaperoom en zeker een aanrader. Zullen in de toekomst vast nog terug komen voor de andere kamers!
La Casa de Dinero is above all a crazy game. You go out with suits and masks and take hilarious photos. In this city game you also have to solve a number of puzzles. From Russia With Love and Undercover are more difficult. At all City Games you walk through Zandvoort and on the boulevard.
When you book a city game or an escape room, you always play with your own group. It is possible that several groups start at the same time in a city game, but then you still play independently of each other.
You can park on the boulevard or behind the Escape Room at the station. In Zandvoort you have to pay everywhere. We do not know in advance whether there is a place nearby, but experience shows that it is especially busy in very sunny weather, during the holidays or at events such as The Grand Prix.
Escape Room Zandvoort has three escape rooms in all. One room is suitable for 2 – 4 people and two rooms are suitable for 2 – 6 people. You always play with your own team. No strangers join in. If you have more experience it is less hard. That is the same with Escape Rooms All our rooms are difficult but The Boat has the highest rate of success (7)% After that the Gold Mine has a success rate of 50% and the Grand Prix of 20/25%. Escape Room Zandvoort is not scary. However, it is intended that playing an escape room is anticipated as being exciting as well as tense. You can expect to be surprised by the fabulous special effects or sounds. The time pressure makes the experience complete. The overall atmosphere creates a sense of tension. However, should someone within your group become overly anxious, scared or panic, there is always the option to push the emergency button. In that case, the door will automatically open and the game will end.
All our rooms are a challenge. If you don’t have that much experience yet, we recommend starting with The Boat Trip. About 50% escape from the Gold Mine. About 20/25%% escape from the Grand Prix. If the group is young at age we can change the rooms.
It does not matter what kind of clothes you wear. You will not get dirty and you do not need to undertake a massive effort. Basically our advice is to wear comfortable clothing.
Yes, before and after the game you can have a drink in our cozy reception area (no alcohol). During the game, it is not possible to order anything. Consumption of any items not offered by Escape Room Zandvoort is not permitted. However, if you like to combine your visit to our escape rooms with a lunch or dinner, please take a look at our recommendations.
Yes! The Escape Rooms can be played in a Dutch, German or English version. From Russia with love in English, German or Dutch and La Casa de Dinero in German and Dutch.
Before you enter the escape room we ask you to store your mobile phones, cameras and other belongings in a secure locker. Everything you need to play the escape room, you will find inside the escape room.
No, during the game you can not use the toilet. We therefore recommend to use the toilet before the game starts.
Escape Room Zandvoort is 50 meters away from both the bus station and the train station of Zandvoort. Unfortunately we do not have a private parking area but there is ample public parking in the vicinity. Escape Room Zandvoort is located 200 meters from the beach. Please keep this in mind as Zandvoort is a popular destination especially when we have a spell of good weather. As such, during the peak season and whenever the weather is pleasant, Escape Room Zandvoort recommends that travel by train or bus is advisable and preferable.
Reservations are required. A reservation can be made via this website, by telephone (023 023 88 88 331) ) or by email (info@escaperoomzandvoort). A booking will be made for the number of people participating in the game. Participation is possible for groups of 2 to 6 people. Reservations for larger groups will be handled on request. Escape Room Zandvoort does not have an “open door” policy. Once a booking is made a confermation email will be sent to you. This email will contain your unique code.
